Wanted to share what a great experience I had with Alex at Ballarat Carsales. My parents needed to downsize their car and Alex was great to deal with, absolutely no pressure to purchase, asked great questions to clarify their needs and provided suggestions re make and mode that reflected he'd taken their needs into account. When we made a decision he suggested taking the car for the day to be sure they were happy and none of our requests were a problem. The service was personalised and helpful as he came to us to handle paperwork and facilitated a speedy delivery to coincide with the sale of their car so we weren't left with transport or had to juggle the 2 cars. I would highly recommend and it was very low stress for Mum and Dad! Thanks Alex

Alex and Rebecca were very accommodating when it came to purchasing our first family car. Both were great communicators and made sure that we were happy with everything. The day that we were supposed to pick up the car, was actually the day I started going into active labour. To our surprise, Alex and Rebecca were kind enough to drop the car off to our place instead! After owning my 2006 Ford focus for less than 2 months. I encountered the engine light and a common problem with this car. Rang Alex after feeling like i was getting ripped off massively by normal mechanic. He took time out of his day ran the car to 2 mechanics and got quotes. Significantly cheaper. Also offered me a loan car while my car was off the road. Alex's customer service and customer care is amazing. More people should look at how he looks after his customers and sales people would probably get a much better name. Also huge thanks to Eden at Edge Automotive for there professional and speedy work.

I had a fantastic experience with Alex purchasing my car at Ballarat Car Sales. Alex showed genuine interest in my needs and although initially went in to look at a completely different vehicle, I ended up with something I hadn’t even considered. Honestly, I test drove a car to humor him and fell in love with the car immediately and I haven’t looked back! There was an issue after purchase that popped up and Alex had someone come to my house to get this sorted in no time at all and then billed to him directly without having to lift a finger.I would highly recommend Alex and Ballarat Car Sales to my friends and family.

I was welcomed by Alex with no pressure to do more than look. Questions were answered easily and honestly. A test drive on my own was organised without fuss and the end result was that I bought the car. Not only was it in top condition, with low mileage and a good price, but it came with a two-year warranty and free check-ins. As it would take around 10 hours to get there from where I am, I rang Alex & asked him to give me a virtual tour of the car on FaceTime, which he immediately did. Nothing was too much trouble. We went to Ballarat to purchase a privately owned vehicle for my son's first car. We happened to drop past Ballarat Car Sales whilst heading to the address of the privately owned car we were looking at.After chatting with Frank at the car yard and asking advice about the car we were going to look at he offered to look it over for us for our ease of mind.He had no obligation to help us out as we weren't buying the car from his dealership, but out of the kindness of his heart offered to help put my son's mind at ease about the car we were considering buying.After offering to give him some compensation for taking time out of his day to help us he refused but asked that we simply pass on good word of mouth about his business.Well here it is, I highly recommend Frank and his yard and truly thank him for the help he provided us with the purchase of the vehicle we made as he had no obligation to do so and didn't want anything in return after spending 30 minutes checking the car out mechanically for us.Thanks Frank, you are a true gentleman!!!

I Bought a 2008 Ford from here after a lot of research of which yard to go to and not get stitched up. I've waited 2 months and can say my research was worth it. The Car is a good solid car with no dodgy suprises. They did the ball joints before sale for me and new rear tyres. I got a very fair deal and overall I would happily go back there again, next time. Alex is a decent bloke. Worth a look !

I don’t usually do reviews on google but I had such great experience with this company I thought I should share it here, whilst visiting family in Ballarat we stumbled across Ballarat Car Sales and stopped in to have a look, we were greeted warmly by Alex and set out to look at his stock, there was a large variety of cars onsite and all looked like they were of very good quality and very well presented, I was interested in two different cars and took both for a test drive, on returning I was still undecided and said to Alex I would think about it overnight, we chatted for awhile he was very informative, knowledgeable and just an all-round good bloke, I really appreciated that he was able to answer my questions in terms I understand and at no time I ever felt any pressure. Overnight I did some online research just to be sure, then made my decision and returned the following morning to make the purchase, the paperwork was done fast, the car was spotless and ready to go, super easy experience and I drove away a very happy customer, with a great car at a great price with after sales support for total peace of mind. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ballarat Car Sales to family, friends and google review readers, having spent a considerable amount of wasted time in car yards around Melbourne being hounded by pushy and condescending sales people and feeling like they are trying to rip me off, it was a great relief to find this place, Ballarat Car Sales should be the blueprint for how other car dealerships should be run.To Alex and the team, thanks again and keep up the great work, it was a pleasure doing business with you.
